Common Conditions and Treatments Offered
What Do Physiotherapists Treat at MSPHYSIO CLINICS?
The most common conditions treated by physiotherapy include:

Sports Injuries
Sports injuries can be caused by direct impact as the result of a sudden event such as twisting an ankle or a knee. A chronic injury can occur over a period of time by overusing the same joints or muscle groups. Weakness, stiffness, hyper-mobility or biomechanical issues can also lead to abnormal movement patterns, overload and injury. Our physiotherapist can assess your movement patterns to determine any structural or pattern abnormality. Based on the diagnosis, they can refer you for further investigations accordingly.

Back & Neck Pain
We regularly see clients with various types of neck and back issues. When you have an episode of back pain our advice is to be relatively active and not have prolonged periods of inactivity or immobility, since this can lead to further stiffness and weakness. Our physiotherapists are able to assess and apply a regime of manual therapy and other modalities that will help with pain relief and prescribe an exercises program that would help to alleviate pain in both short and long term.

Work Related Injuries
A majority of people work at their desks for extended periods of time. Poor posture and repetitive activities can cause strain and overuse, leading to problems like RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) and WRULD (Work Related Upper Limb Disorder). More often than not it relates to poor posture or repetitive tasks such as using the mouse or typing. Treatment may include manual therapy such as mobilisations, strengthening of postural muscles and advise on posture and ergonomics.
